Did you know that every low income person has two to three unmet legal needs that create barriers to health, safety and well-being?

Since 2009, Doctors and Lawyers for Kids (DLK), a Louisville nonprofit , has been working to connect the medical and legal professions to address social, economic and environmental issues that negatively affect children’s health. DLK is one of many medical-legal partnerships across the country, which together help more than 60,000 patients and their families each year resolve legal issues that impede their health care.

The 8th annual Ramble benefiting DLK is just around the corner and we're challenging LBA members and friends to help raise awareness by buying steps in support of children's health.

Purchase a step for just $1 and see your name among the many who have already donated; each footprint -- aka, "step" -- will go up on our office windows for all who walk by to see.

Our hope is to raise $1,750 before the event on August 26.

To buy a step, contact Marisa Motley at (502) 583-5314 or mmotley@loubar.org. For more information on the LBA's Ramble benefiting DLK, and for a link to register, CLICK HERE.
