Magna Carta's 800th Anniversary to be Commemorated at the Kentucky State Fair

To commemorate the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta, the Kentucky State Fair will host a traveling exhibition from August 20-30 developed by the American Bar Association and curated by the Law Library of Congress. The State Fair is the only Kentucky stop on the exhibition’s national tour.

On Tuesday, July 21, Seneca High School will host a free mock trial for middle school students and incoming freshmen where they will learn how to object, introduce evidence, deliver a dramatic opening or closing statement to a jury, and question witnesses on the stand.

Notice of Proposed Amendments to Federal Local Rules

Upon recommendation of the Joint Local Rules Commission, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky propose to amend certain Joint Local Rules of Civil Practice and Joint Local Rules of Criminal Practice as they relate to attorneys practicing before the courts who are disciplined by their admitting or licensing authorities.
