LBA members and their friends are invited in for free beverages, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and socializing! Big Four Bridge Walking Tours Local historian Rick Bell will lead free walking tours of the Big Four Bridge on the last Saturday of each month during the summer. It may not be an LBA specific event, but what better way to socialize and soak in the summer fun? Beginning at 10 a.m., LBA members will gather at the top of the ramp (Louisville side) to learn more about the history of the bridge, including its career as a railroad bridge, and its current use as a pedestrian/bicycle path. The tours will last about 90 minutes and registration is not necessary.
