Speakers: Mitchel Denham and Erin Shaughnessy, DBL Law

About the speakers: 

Mitchel Denham is a partner in DBL Law’s Health Care, Civil Litigation and Government practice groups. His practice includes state and federal investigations, administrative hearings and actions, open records matters, government procurement, election law, white collar crime and a variety of other matters. Mitchel is admitted to practice law in Kentucky, the Kentucky Eastern and Western Districts, the Sixth Circuit, the DC Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mitchel previously served as Assistant Deputy Attorney General in the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General. He was named by Governor Andy Beshear to co-chair the transition team of the Finance and Administration Cabinet in 2019. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Centre College.

Erin Shaughnessy is an associate attorney practicing in DBL Law’s Civil Litigation group. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville where she graduated magna cum laude in 2019. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Murray State University.
