In January 2016, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) began notifying employers about charges of employment discrimination using a new digital processing system. Employers now must respond using this system. It’s important for employers and their legal representatives to understand the process and how it can impact the investigation of the charge. In addition, we will discuss some best practices for using the system as well as some other related recent developments. Toni Ahl was an Investigator with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for over 30 years. Since her retirement, she has formed EEO Advantage to do consulting, training and investigations.
