Please join the American Constitution Society (ACS) Kentucky Lawyer Chapter and Appellate Section of the Louisville Bar Association in welcoming Professor Bill Marshall of UNC School of Law and Professor Justin Walker of University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law for a presentation on the battle brewing over the nomination and confirmation process for the Supreme Court seat left vacant by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia. Professor Marshall will comment on what to expect this Term from a Court that is likely to vote 4-4 in several key cases and provide his thoughts on Justice Scalia’s legacy. Professor Walker will add his perspective as a recent former Supreme Court law clerk.
