The LBA Leadership Academy is looking for its next class. This six-month program brings together attorneys who are ready to grow as leaders in their firms, the legal profession and the Louisville community.

From a January retreat to a June closing session, the cohort meets once a month for a full day of programming built around a simple idea: leadership is a practice, not a title. Participants work through sessions on leadership strategy, feedback and challenge culture, emerging technology and civic engagement while learning from attorneys, judges, business leaders and community partners. The class also completes a service project together with a local nonprofit. By the end, they leave with sharper skills, more confidence and a network that carries through the rest of their careers.

The Academy is designed for attorneys with 4 to 10 years of experience. Spots are limited and this program fills fast, so don’t wait until the last week to apply.

Application deadline: Friday, November 6, 2026
