As circuit court clerk, I am committed to ensuring high-quality customer service to the citizens of Jefferson County and to you, the attorneys, who conduct business and serve your clients at the Hall of Justice and Judicial Center on a daily basis.

One of the important tools that we use to measure customer service is our annual attorney survey.  The survey includes categories of professionalism, knowledge, helpfulness and courtesy, and phone etiquette across all court divisions. Through the attorney survey, our office has been able to capture hundreds of comments and suggestions for improvement, which have resulted in the better utilization of technology, strengthened court processes and improved customer service.

I am pleased to present the results of our 2014 Office of the Circuit Court Clerk Annual Attorney Survey and report that a resounding 92 percent of attorneys said that they received “Very Good” or “Good” overall quality of service from our office. This success would not be possible without our dedicated and hard-working Deputy Clerk TEAM and our local justice partners. I highly encourage you to go online to read the survey results, especially the comments from your colleagues. The overwhelming response that we received illustrates the two-way commitment to communication and customer service between our office and the attorneys we serve on a daily basis.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you for taking the time to complete the survey and offer your comments and suggestions. We greatly value your input, which helps us gauge the quality of our service and identify opportunities for improvement. I would also like to thank the Louisville Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association for helping us promote the survey through their online publications.

While these survey results are very encouraging, rest assured that we will continually strive to execute with quality through customer-focused initiatives and expansion of available technology. Moving forward, our vision remains the same—to provide the highest quality service to the citizens of Jefferson County.
