In celebration of Black History Month please join the LBA on Thursday, February 25, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., for a discussion with Dan Gediman about his new podcast series, The Reckoning.

In this story Gediman, who produced the radio series This I Believetakes a deep dive into the lasting impact of slavery in America by analyzing Kentucky's history and how the institution unfolded in the state.

To help tell these stories, the series interviews members of two families deeply impacted by slavery in Kentucky — one descended from a slave owner and another descended from the slaves they owned.
