The Louisville Bar Association is accepting applications for the 2024 Summer Law Institute (SLI). The SLI is a week-long non-residential camp for high school students (9th – 12th grade) interested in a career in the law. The curriculum is intensive, consisting of classes on various legal topics and mock trial preparation. Students will also be visiting and observing Jefferson District and Circuit Courts and U.S. District Court. The program will begin on Saturday, July 20 and culminates with a mock trial on Saturday, July 27. Below is the tentative schedule for the week. Tuition is $200 (limited scholarships are available).

Monday, July 22 – Wednesday, July 24 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Thursday, July 25 – Friday, July 26 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 27 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
PLEASE NOTE: The program is open to seniors graduating in May 2024.
