Leon Sequeira, former Assistant Secretary for Policy, U.S. Department of Labor - "An Insider's Look at the Obama Administration's Agenda in Labor and Employment Law"
Mr. Sequeira served as Assistant Secretary of Policy during the second term of the George W. Bush Administration. After completing his government service, he practiced labor and employment law with Seyfarth Shaw in Washington, D.C. In 2013, his family moved to Louisville and he now consults with employers and trade associations around the country on labor and employment compliance and public policy matters.
Mr. Sequeira will offer an insider's perspective on the Obama Administration's key labor and employment initiatives over the past six years, and offer a preview of what we are likely to see from the incoming Republican-controlled Congress during the final two years of the Obama presidency.
