Please join the members of the Federal Practice Section of the Louisville Bar Association for a CLE presentation focused on learning about the physical and organizational structure of the historic Gene Snyder United States Courthouse in Louisville and available resources for attorneys. The one-hour CLE will begin with a 30-minute demonstration of some of the latest courtroom technologies, including evidence presentation equipment and translation equipment, available for use by attorneys in Courtroom 2. This will be followed by a panel of former and current law clerks speaking about their experiences working in chambers at the Courthouse. Attendees will learn about courthouse resources for lawyers for use at trials and hearings, to learn about the local practice in the federal court, the organization of the court and role of law clerks in federal district court practice, and to gain familiarity with the courthouse generally. After the CLE, all participants will be invited to join an optional tour of the physical facilities and some of the judges’ chambers at the Courthouse led by Clerk of Court James J.
