A reservation is required in advance of the program. Registrants will receive a confirmation e-mail the day before the event which will contain a link to join the meeting via Zoom and attachments of the handout material and CLE activity code and instruction on how to file with the Ky Bar Association (PDF files).

Participants will learn how companies commonly implement their Systems Development Life Cycle and how to provide value to their organization in each step. From initial requirements gathering to deployment, attorneys can help companies design systems that mitigate future legal risks. Should the company suffer an attack, participants will learn the basics of managing the security incident including engaging law enforcement and reporting to regulators.

About the speaker: Speaker’s Bio: Kyle is an attorney on Dentons’ Global Privacy and Cybersecurity team where he combines the law with his career experience in computer networking, information security, and data privacy. His practice focuses on intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity. He manages security incident investigations and, if necessary, regulatory reporting and related litigation. He is a 2017 graduate of the Vanderbilt University Law School, where he founded the Law and Technology Society. As a law student, Kyle helped plan Nashville's 2nd Annual Data Monetization Conference as well as an award-winning Legal Hackathon. While at Vanderbilt, Kyle clerked for the United States Attorney's Office, focusing on the areas of healthcare fraud, white collar crime and computer crime prosecution.
