Are you a newly admitted attorney or a young attorney that feels overwhelmed when walking into the courthouse, or who just needs a refresher? This CLE program is specifically designed for you! This CLE will include panel discussions and Q&A sessions with sitting judges from District, Family, and Circuit Courts. Also included are breakout sessions focused on the practical aspects of being a new lawyer, such as the basics of district court criminal practice, handling motion hour, and guiding a matter through probate court. The program will conclude with a tour of the Hall of Justice and Judicial Center led by those in the know, the Jefferson Circuit Court Clerks.
