This video replay provides a unique look at Batson v. Kentucky, the landmark criminal case in which the U.S. Supreme Court held that prosecutors may not use peremptory challenges to exclude potential jurors from jury service based solely on their race. Speakers include the original prosecutor, trial and appellate attorneys and even the defendant himself. A law professor examines the progeny, effect and relevance of Batson three decades after its rendition.
