Please join the Louisville Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section for this half-day program as we review intellectual property cases pending before the Federal Appellate and US Supreme Courts and dive into the matter of ethics in licensing. Local practitioners will lead discussions on the background, substantive law, and potential implications of current issues in trademark and patent law, including enhanced damages in patent cases and the registration of disparaging marks.

In addition to this case law review, ethical considerations in licensing will be discussed. What happens when good negotiations go bad? What about communications with adverse parties? Join us for this half-day program to learn more.
