Human Rights Law 101: Domestic and International. What Every Lawyer Should Know in the 21st Century
An increasingly global marketplace in both money and ideas demands a basic knowledge of the laws that govern civil rights and issues that affect all citizens, expatriates, immigrants and refugees alike. The goal of this program is to gather speakers immersed in the fields of immigration, international court systems and humanitarian law, prosecuting human trafficking and Red Cross management of local and international disaster relief. From the Hague Convention to new state legislation, this CLE is designed to enhance Kentucky lawyers' knowledge base by offering a peek into the shifting laws surrounding all of us here from wherever we came.
