A Plaintiff 101 Guide to Worker’s Compensation and Employment Claims
Just because an employment action is unfair does not mean it is unlawful. This program will provide the basics of how to recognize viable employment law claims arising under current state and federal laws, including the ADEA, ADA, Title VII, and the FLSA, as well as, the most effective route for successfully pursuing those claims. The program will also provide a brief overview of recent developments in this area of law.
Additionally, this seminar will cover required filings on the process of a worker’s comp case. Topics will include common defenses and issues, employer and employee rights and what to expect at a BRC and hearing, and more.
