Program Description:  

Navigating Murky Waters: Reconciling Competing Ethical Obligations in Environmental Law

This program will examine some important ethical issues that arise in the practice of environmental law, and explore how Kentucky's ethics rules apply in some common types of situations, with a particular focus on situations that may implicate multiple, competing ethical obligations. Topics to be covered include a lawyer's obligations regarding clients' unlawful actions and ethical considerations for working with experts.
