Obstreperosity - Is it...(11/14)
November 14, 2013

Program Description:

Obstreperosity - Is it Accurately Described as a Lawyer Problem? Is it Getting Worse? What's a Lawyer to Do?

This CLE, based on a wide range of legal and non-legal sources, explores the range of obstreperous behavior - and attendant reactions - by lawyers, judges and others. Participants will draw their own conclusions about the first two questions posed.  As to the third - what's a lawyer to do? - the session will offer rule-based and practical solution possibilities.  Participants will be invited to share their own horror stories.  The original ideas for this session were first published as "Obstreperosity," in 33 Litigation, no. 1, Fall, 1966.  The conduct, by lawyers and others, has, as we all know, continued.

Speaker: John M. Myers, Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP

This CLE program is sponsored by W.B. Griffin & Son Insurance Administrators A Pearl Company
