Program Description:  

Turney Berry & Friends 2013 Live Update:
Estate Planning for the Rich, Poor, and Folks Next Door

The panel will discuss estate planning in 2013 and beyond taking into consideration the new $5 million+ estate and gift tax exclusions, the importance of income tax basis, and the complicated rules dealing with trust income taxes.  Non-tax estate planning will be featured including lifetime incentive planning, planning for beneficiaries with special needs, and planning for the elderly.  Interesting charitable planning ideas and a review of cases involving fiduciary liability and other state law issues will round out the discussion.
