Program Description: Ex Parte Communications & the Criminal Justice System A practical program addressing the ethical and legal limitations on ex parte communications between judge, litigators, litigants and jurors and the procedures and strategies to be employed in the ethical use of ex parte communications, presenting the judicial, prosecutorial and defense perspectives in light of Commonwealth v. Wilson, 384 S.W.3d 113, 116 (Ky. 2012), and KBA Ethics Opinion E-419 (May 2003).
Speakers include: J. Vincent Aprile, Lynch Cox Gilman & Goodman and Thomas B. Wine, Commonwealth’s Attorney, Jefferson County
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received at least 24 hours in advance for any refunds or credits. Substitutions will be allowed.
