Kentucky’s Constitutional Right to (4/9)
April 09, 2013

Program Description:

Kentucky’s Constitutional Right to Hunt

This CLE program will explore the wide array of issues arising under Kentucky’s recent Constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right to hunt. Will biological limits now be considered under a strict scrutiny or rational basis test? What about safety requirements for hunters? Does the requirement to purchase a license confer a right to success in the hunt in light of the amendment? And does this mean that hunters can now use formerly-prohibited methodologies such as mechanized calls?
