Program Description:  

The Core Concepts of Mediation

This interactive training examines the core concepts of mediation as they apply to the family law setting and sharpens participants’ negotiating skills.

The lecture component introduces conflict management theories and strategies, while demonstrations and exercises illustrate how to frame issues, manage impasses, and direct the mediation process. Both veteran and novice attorneys will gain skills and become more effective advocates.
