CASA of the River Region to Hold Bourbon by the Bridge Event

On June 15, Court Appointed Special Advocates of the River Region will hold a fundraising event benefitting its cause of providing specialized volunteers to children who have experienced abuse and neglect.

This event will be the first to occur at the base of the Big Four Bridge. The tented event will feature a jazz band, catered hors d'oeuvres, wine and bourbon tastings. Bourbon tastings will be provided by Brown Forman, Castle Brands, Four Roses, Heaven Hill and Maker’s Mark. Tickets are $75 per person or $140 per couple. Louisville Bar Association members will receive a discounted ticket rate of $60.

The event will take place from 5-8 p.m.

CASA of the River Region supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. CASA recruits and trains community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children.
