19th Annual Santa’s Court Toy Drive is Outstanding!
There’s no doubt the legal community has come together once again in a big way for Santa! Thirty-seven firms, offices and groups donated over $20,000 in monetary and toy contributions, equaling just over 1,000 toys.
Gifts collected in the LBA’s Toy Drive are donated to local children who were not adopted from the Salvation Army Angel Trees. Each year, thousands of children are either not adopted or no gifts have been returned for them. Thanks to the generosity of the LBA, these children will not be without gifts for the holidays.
Special thanks to the participating firms and office coordinators listed below, and to the many unnamed individuals who donated time, money, or gifts. And a huge round of applause to Mapother & Mapother who raised an astounding $2,700 and to Baptist East Healthcare System who raised over $2,000!

***Harlan Scholars as Holiday Elves
Once again, Harlan Scholars from the University of Louisville helped wrap up the annual LBA Toy Drive, by acting as the elves tasked with picking up all the gifts and donations. With Louisville’s temperatures dropping to near-North Pole numbers, the elves ran from floor to floor and building to building, picking up more than 1,000 toys and gifts donated from firms and offices. This colossal chore couldn’t be accomplished without their help.
