Dates Announced for Upcoming Legal Clinics
Anyone seeking advice on various legal matters, the LBA and its partners will be hosting the following free clinics and programs around Kentuckiana.
NOTICE: Dates and times are subject to change without notice. Click on the event location(s) below for updates. Attorneys will offer a short presentation about foreclosure defense and other popular civil legal topics. Following the presentation, attorneys will be on hand to answer questions about the topics presented and other civil legal issues such as landlord/tenant disputes, life -planning documents, child support, government benefits, bankruptcy, small claims, and criminal record expungements. Watch for upcoming dates ------------------------------------ Call-A-Lawyer Free, confidential and anonymous legal advice from volunteer attorneys. This number is only in effect on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Sept 18 6-8pm Call (502)583-1801 ------------------------------------ Divorce Clinics Clients will receive assistance from attorneys in filling out all necessary documents to file for a divorce. *All divorce clinic dates listed will be held at the Judicial Center from 10am - noon. Muhammad Ali Blvd.) ------------------------------------ Expungement Clinics Attorneys will be on hand to discuss the expungement process. Attendees are encouraged to bring a copy of their criminal record which shows the disposition of each case. A copy of the record may be obtained from Court Archives located in the basement of the Old Jail Building located at 514 W Liberty St. Sept 11 2pm Legal Aid Society office (416 W.
